Graham Jarvis - Top rider, Top bloke!

Dad and I made the journey up to Fort William for this landmark event, we were there for the last 2 days and the awards night (hic!).

Who should we bump into with in an hour of arriving (yes in a pub) none other but our esteemed treasurer Dave Beckett! Dave was observing with fellow local rider Dave Dale, his pal Robbie ‘Thruxton’ also made several guest appearances around the glens and in the Grog & Gruel.

Alexz Wigg - a very unlucky 4th

We had a fantastic time and the riding was amazing – anyone who has not been and you can get around the considerable logistics, I’d say do it! the trials and the scenery are amazing!

The last day was truly exciting with it going down to the last section, Alexz Wigg had caught up James Dabill and was leading the trial on cleans, only for his chain to come off (or break, the jungle drums couldn’t confirm) at Town Hall Bray, leaving him 4th and Dabill the Winner from Micheal Brown and Graham Jarvis in 3rd. Dougie had to retire with an injured ankle on Friday.
