North Hants Motor Club are very sad to announce the sad passing of David Potter.

North Hants would like to remember David Potter who was the Club Chairman and President for many years and helped make this Club what it is today.
It was his extensive knowledge of trials that has led the Club to become one of the biggest trials clubs in the south of England, during the 70’s and 80’s. He even let the Club use his old family caravan for signing on purposes and use of his land at Crondall.

Dick remembers David getting up very early one Sunday morning to lend John, Dick, Iain and Danny his beloved Mitsubishi Shogun so they could go a twinshock championship trial up North.

David leaves behind his son John Potter who continues in the family tradition to assist North Hants, whether by towing the caravan to each and every event, to storing the caravan and portaloo on his property and by allowing us as much free access to Crondall Woods. We are ever grateful John

North Hants Motor Club will be making a donation to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice which is where the family have requested donations to be sent to.

The funeral takes place under Covid conditions on 11 March and some club members will be riding to the funeral on their road bikes as a mark of respect and will be meeting in Potters Industrial Park at 10 am.
